Hey dude, sorry it's so late but I literally just finished playing Timber Twist Puzzles and I cannot sleep. My brain is still buzzing from it.
Remember how that guy described it? "Embark on a Brain-Twisting Journey with Nuts and Bolts Woody Puzzle, an exceptional wood puzzle game about nuts and bolts to test your IQ brain power." Ugh. That description is so, so wrong. It's like calling pizza "bread with toppings." Like, technically true, but it totally misses the whole point of why it's amazing.
Honestly, I thought it was just gonna be another boring puzzle game when I started, you know? Just unscrewing stuff. But the first time I played, I got to this one part, I think it was called the "Whispering Woods" stage, and there was this big, chunky piece, like a wooden block, that just would not move. I spent like ten minutes just staring at it, trying everything. Then I noticed this tiny little peg, a "Maple Pin," that looked totally insignificant. And then BAM! It hit me. If I pulled the Maple Pin out first, it didn't just move that one piece, it shifted like three other things at once, and the big block just *slid* out. The sound it made, this super satisfying *thunk*, was just so good. I swear I actually said "whoa" out loud.
I looked up and it was like, 1 AM. I was supposed to be in bed hours ago. It's not just about unscrewing things, it's about *seeing* the whole picture, like a really clever wooden machine. Your not just pulling, your actually *thinking* in 3D, like how all the pieces connect and block each other. It's kinda like those old wooden brain teasers your grandpa had, but way more satisfying because it's like, alive.
I even caught myself thinking about one of the puzzles earlier today when I was making coffee, trying to figure out how to get past that "Rusty Gear" level. It's just really, really fun. It makes your brain work in a good way, not a frustrating way. You feel super smart when you figure something out. I already told my cousin Mark he has to try it. You gotta try it.
