OMG dude, you are NOT gonna believe this game. Span Architec. Remember how I told you that description someone gave me? Like "stretch the stick to walk on platforms"? Total BS. That's like describing a fancy steak dinner as "cow meat on a plate." Technically true, but completely missing the point.
I'm literally still thinking about it and it's like 11 PM. I can't sleep! So I started playing it this afternoon, thinking it was just some dumb little timing game, like one of those endless runners. And for the first few tries, I totally sucked. My little character, Pip, kept falling into the abyss with this tiny, sad "oof!" sound. I was like, "Ugh, this is just another 'tap and hold' thing." But then I realized, it's not about *how long* you hold, it's about *how you draw* the bridge.
Like, you're given this stretchy material, right? And you have to actually *shape* it. Not just make it long enough, but make it strong, make it curve, make it a ramp if you need to. I spent like twenty minutes on one gap, just experimenting. My first few bridges were these wobbly, sad lines that Pip would just slide off of, or they'd snap in the middle with a little *twang* sound. I almost gave up.
But then, I don't know why, but I tried making a proper arch, like a little rainbow bridge. And dude, it held! Pip bounced across it, and there was this super satisfying little chime sound. It felt SO good. I totally lost track of time, looked up and it was like, midnight already. I was supposed to be doing laundry!
It's like those old physics drawing games, but way more chill and creative. You're not just trying to survive, your actually *building* something. And the little details are great, like how the background changes from sunny fields to these cool starry canyons. I even caught myself sketching bridge ideas on a napkin at lunch today. I already told my cousin Leo he has to try it, cause he's into those puzzle games. Honestly, it's just really, really fun. You actually feel clever when you figure out a tricky spot.
